Reluctantly,
I put down
my hatchet.
Hesitantly,
I picked up
the harp.
Cautiously,
I plucked
the strings.
Awkwardly,
I moved
my feet.
And then,
I danced.
I danced
unencumbered.
I danced
free of the weights.
I danced
a new song.
There were others,
dancing, too,
rejoicing with me—
so glad
to see the harp
replace
the hatchet.
